Personality:
To everyone around her, Kallen is seen as a weak-bodied high school student. While at Ashford, she was absent a lot, blaming it on illness, when in reality she was doing jobs with the Black Knights. Outside of school and with the BK, Kallen is strong-willed, forceful, and a fierce fighter, known as the Ace of the Black Knights, due to her fighting abilities in her Guren. Kallen is also fiercely loyal to her leader Zero, and willing to do anything for him, including die for him. Her will to succeed within the BK and their goal is driven by thoughts of her deceased brother, who fought for the resistiance and was killed, and for her mother, who works as a maid in Kallen's house. Unfortunately, her mother does not remember Kallen, and after she is arrested for using Refrain, Kallen Kallen changes her views and decides to fight against the Britannian Empire not only for her brother, but to fulfill her new wish for a world in which she can live happily with her biological mother.
She is also one of the top students at Ashford, and a part of the student council. Despite her double life, Kallen has a certain girlish naivete to her, and embarrasses easily in certain situations. Despite the fact she is working against Britannia, Kallen cares about her friends on the student council, and reveals her identity to the students of Ashford Academy when the Black Knights occupy it as their base of operations, convincing the student council that they will not be harmed.
